Crazy Line Block
A downloadable game for Windows
🧱 CrazyLineBlock
**Place blocks. Clear lines. Reveal the hidden picture.**
A pixel-art picture hides under the 15×15 grid. Every row or column you clear shatters the dark tiles and uncovers a piece of the image. Reveal 100% of it before the clock runs out to win!
### 🎮 Gameplay
- **3 pieces at a time**: drag them onto the grid, rotate them, find the perfect spot.
- **Every cleared row or column** reveals the hidden pixels beneath, with a colorful flash.
- **Race against time**: 3 minutes to start, **+20 seconds** per cleared line (up to 5 min).
- **10 mystery pictures** picked at random.
- **Growing difficulty**: bigger pieces and slower refills as you play.
- **26 piece shapes** in 3 tiers, dealt with a fair "bag" system.
### ⚙️ 100% made with code
> **This game contains no image files, no audio files and no fonts.**
> Everything you see and hear comes from about **2,200 lines of GDScript**.
- **Graphics**: every block, glow and shadow is drawn at runtime with plain rectangles and circles. The title uses a hand-made 4×5 pixel font. The 10 hidden pictures are stored as text: 15 strings of 15 characters plus a color palette.
- **Music**: a synthesizer written in code builds the soundtrack sample by sample, 22,050 times per second. Bass, melody, arpeggio, lead, kick, snare and hi-hat are all oscillators or white noise. The music never loops: it builds up in 5 sections, and the tempo rises from 102 to 140 BPM.
- **Sound effects**: all 5 sounds are synthesized as raw PCM data when the game starts.
- **UI**: menu buttons and panels are styled in code.
### 🕹️ Controls
- **Left click (drag and drop)**: pick up / place a piece
- **R** or **right click**: rotate a piece
